Activities of the Recognized Research Group “Optimal Design of Experiments”

Virtual terminal technology, the organization of the Conference of Young Researchers and great work in dissemination and transfer are some of the activities that are being carried out from the RRG “Optimal Design of Experiments”.

The “Optimum Design of Experiments” (RRG), directed by Juan M. Rodriguez Díaz, is carrying out a series of activities of interest to the scientific community. In this sense, a virtual terminal has recently been set up in which interactive web calculation applications open to the public are being installed, addressed to the research community:

This is the first case in USAL to use the technology of virtual terminals, with the great economic savings that this entails as it makes use of facilities already available in the university, thus making for a rational use of resources. This is the first case of making available to the public the interactive applications that are the result of the R & D program development of the group. In relation to this, the “Optimum Design of Experiments” RRG would like to thank the Computer Services Department (CPD) and especially the Vice-Chancellor of Research, for having facilitated access to the use of CPD servers via Terminal Server.

In addition, this research group is organizing the next Congreso JEDE (Conference of Young Researchers in Experimental Design) to be held on 20-21 July 2017 in USAL’s Faculty of Sciences.
