The Marie Curie Association celebrated its General Assembly in Salamanca

The meeting, organized by the Spanish-Portuguese delegation of Marie Curie, is part of the annual meetings of the group held in different European countries.

The Marie Curie Student Association held its meeting at Hospedería Fonseca during this weekend. Specifically, this meeting was made to coincide with the General Assembly of the Association with a day of lectures in which topics of general interest, such as entrepreneurship or the divulgation of science to society, were discussed on Saturday. The General Assembly was held on Friday and restricted to members of the Marie Curie Association, whereas the lectures, which were held on Saturday, were open to the general public.

The Vice-Chancellor of Research and Knowledge Transfer, Juan Manuel Corchado, was present at the opening session of the General Assembly, while the Vice-Chancellor of Internationalization, Mª Ángeles Serrano, intervened in the opening session of the day of lectures.

The Marie Curie Student Association is an international grouping of more than 7,000 academic and non-academic researchers from virtually every area of ​​knowledge that share in common having had a Marie Curie Fellowship during their university studies.
