The University and its Science Park made leading partners by the Scientia Foundation.

The work carried out by the University of Salamanca and its Science Park in the organization of the FIRST LEGO League Tournament which took place for the first time in Salamanca on the 25th of February, has gained the recognition of Leading Partner 2017, a prize granted by the Scientia Foundation, promoter of the FIRST LEGO League tournaments on a national scale.

Last Saturday, the eleventh edition of the GRAND FINALE of the  FIRST LEGO League Spain took place, held for the first time in Logroño on a day imbued with festivity and fun. The Scientia Foundation, the Riojana Foundation for Innovation and the Federation of Entrepreneurs of La Rioja were the organizers of this Grand Finale which brought together a total of 61 teams from all over Spain and more than 1,800 people who wanted to join this great event of science, technology and learning.

The winning team of the GRAND FINALE LEGO League Spain was Electronics Falcons, from the region of Murcia, while the R2D2 team from Palencia and winners of the stage held in Salamanca won the 2nd Prize for Team Work, and a place in the FIRST LEGO League tournament to be held in London. The work carried out by the University of Salamanca and its Science Park in the organization of the FIRST LEGO League tournament, held for the first time in Salamanca on 25 February, has earned them the recognition of Partner of Excellence 2017, a Prize awarded by the Scientia Foundation, promoter of the FIRST LEGO League tournaments nationwide.
