The University will promote a technology park in Béjar to create jobs

The Town Council of Béjar and the University of Salamanca will sign an agreement to promote the establishment of companies immediately.

The Town Council of Béjar and the University of Salamanca will work together on job creation starting this summer with the implementation of a technology park that will allow the establishment of new companies in the textile city.

This was stated by the Vice-Chancellor of Research and Transfer, Juan Manuel Corchado and the Council Member for Employment of Béjar, Maria del Castañar Rodilla, who will sign the collaboration agreement in the coming weeks.

The technology park will be located in municipal facilities and will allow the search for technological or autonomous companies to be established in the numerous premises, such as those located in the so-called CISABE, center of advanced industries of Béjar.

The companies could be installed in the future technology park as from the next month of July, once the agreement has been signed.
