Robotics has arrived at USAL’s Science Park

The Vice-Chancellor for Research and Knowledge Transfer and General Director of the Science Park of the University of Salamanca, Juan Manuel Corchado, and the promotors of Educatibot, Guillermo Lobato, Sergio Márquez and María Ruano, have entered into an agreement of incorporation to the Science Park in the Villamayor Campus, where they will carry out the design, production and sales processes of robots and learning kits.

ECOSOAM Comes to the Science Park

The General Director of the Science Park and Vice-Chancellor of Research and Knowledge Transfer of the Universidad de Salamanca, Juan Manuel Corchado Rodríguez, and Celeste Montera, promotor of ECOSOAM, have signed a collaboration agreement to bring the firm to the USAL Science Park.

Architectural Innovation at the USAL Science Park

BIM área, an innovative architecture and engineering studio that develops its projects using the new technologies, such as the BIM (Building Information Modeling) Methodology and 3D printing, is coming to the University of Salamanca Science Park to promote its project and create collaboration ties with the University and with the companies, centres and research institutes located in the Park.

The Science Park celebrates its first ten years of existence with 55 companies, more than 800 jobs and an investment close to 22 million euros.

The USAL is among the 10 most innovation-supportive universities in Spain and among the 5 academic institutions that generate the most induced transference – over 37 million in 2015.
