The University of Salamanca approved in its Governing Council on April 28, 2016 the Regulations for the Promotion of the Creation of Spin-Off Companies in order to encourage those innovative and entrepreneurial initiatives that have emerged from the university community itself, making available to Entrepreneurs the resources and advice necessary for the creation of a new company.

Workshop to learn how to make an “elevator pitch”

The  General Foundation of the University of Salamanca  and  USAL Emprende (SIPPE), as part of activities of the TCUE (University-Business Knowledge Transfer) Plan for 2015-2017, Phase 2 (framed within the University-Business Knowledge Transfer Plan for 2015-2017 of Castile & Leon’s Regional Ministry of Education) have organized a workshop to teach entrepreneurs, business professionals, and students with an enterprising spirit  to design an elevator pitch.

Robotics has arrived at USAL’s Science Park

The Vice-Chancellor for Research and Knowledge Transfer and General Director of the Science Park of the University of Salamanca, Juan Manuel Corchado, and the promotors of Educatibot, Guillermo Lobato, Sergio Márquez and María Ruano, have entered into an agreement of incorporation to the Science Park in the Villamayor Campus, where they will carry out the design, production and sales processes of robots and learning kits.
